Kruger National Park, with its many private wildlife reserves, offers visitors a unique African experience. The fencing between these toy reserves collapsed and created a huge area where animals could roam and migrate freely. This large area is often referred to as the “Larger Area of Kruger Park.”
Kruger National Park was established in 1889 to preserve wildlife found in the Lovewell area of South Africa. The size of this national park is almost 2 million hectares and as a result of merging with the private reserves around it, it is the size of a small country. The park is a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies and is home to numerous species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals.
There are also many archeological sites worth visiting in Kruger Park, highlighting human prehistoric occupation in this part of the world. Bushman Rock Painting and Iron Age restored villages add to the fun of visiting this place.
Great Kruger Park hosts lots of accommodation facilities where there is a lot to do and see, which has made it a very popular place. Private game reserves offer excellent accommodation and game viewing, where you will likely find the Big 5. Kruger National Park, with its self-catering accommodation and self-guided routes, is very popular with travelers who are setting their own travel routes. The park also contains a number of private concessions within its boundaries. They offer luxurious accommodation and there have their own Safari guides to guide guests on gaming discs and bushes.
South African guests who have a few days to go on a safari may be interested in the “Kruger Park Flight Cover”, where you do not waste time in action.
Every year more than a million visitors stay in this place in various lodges and recreation camps. Due to the park’s popularity, pre-booking is required. Some camps in Kruger National Park are booked a year in advance during the peak holiday period.
The African bush is a place of contrasts. A place where exciting adventures are experienced with a deep sense of peace where the soul can recharge. I highly recommend traveling to an African bush if you have never been here. Sometimes it is difficult to describe a real encounter of wildlife in the bush – all the senses will come alive.
The world-famous Kruger Park offers a wildlife experience that is among the best in Africa.
